Your Information / Privacy

Your Enquiry.
Handled With Care.

How information submitted through this website is used. Last updated October 2026.

What You Share

The enquiry form collects your name, email address, optional phone number, selected service and the property information you include in your message. The form also records which website the enquiry came from and the agreement you give about sharing it. Avoid sending sensitive personal information or details unrelated to the property enquiry.

Why The Information Is Used

Your information is used to understand and respond to your enquiry, discuss the service requested and protect the form from misuse. Technical hosting systems may process basic request information, such as an IP address and the time of a request, for security and reliable delivery. Form information is not used to subscribe you to marketing.

Sharing With A Suitable Local Firm

Enquiries may be passed to a suitable local firm so that it can respond about the requested asbestos service. We ask for your agreement first through an unticked checkbox on the form. The information shared is limited to the enquiry and contact details needed to follow it up.

The receiving firm is responsible for explaining its own use of personal information when it responds. You remain free to decide whether to accept a quotation or commission work. Your details are not offered for unrelated marketing.

Agreement And Retention

Your agreement is the basis for passing the enquiry to a suitable local firm. Information needed to deal with your request and keep the form secure is handled for those purposes. Records should be kept only as long as needed for the enquiry, any resulting service discussion and applicable record-keeping obligations.

You may withdraw agreement to future sharing or contact about the enquiry. Withdrawal does not undo processing that has already taken place lawfully. If a local firm has already received your details, ask it about its own records and retention arrangements.

Your Choices And Rights

You can ask about access to your information, correction, deletion or restrictions on its use, and object where relevant. Use the contact form with “Privacy request” at the start of your message, providing only enough information to identify the original enquiry. State that your privacy request must not be passed on as a service enquiry.

You do not need to agree to service-enquiry sharing to submit a privacy request through that form. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office. Rights depend on the circumstances and applicable data protection law.
